History
CONTADIN STANCO
The origins of the winery date back to the late 1800s when Gregorio Canello's grandfather began to cultivate vineyards in Guia ( Valdobbiadene ) making Prosecco mainly for personal use. After the WWII, it was Gregorio's father, Cesare Canello that increased the winemaking business. At that period the local economy was still reliant on a mixture of vineyard and breeding activities.
TERRITORY
VALDOBBIADENE
The winery is located in Guia, a small village of Valdobbiadene, at the center of Prosecco hills, UNESCO’s World Heritage Site and heart of the DOCG area. A territory with exceptional qualities in term of soil and the grapes it produces. The landscape is dominated by a peculiar combination of hilly ridges, woods, villages, and vineyards where microclimate and soil composition contribute to produce grapes with peculiar characteristics such as acidity, freshness, and aroma.

valdobbiadene prosecco superiore docg brut
In 2021 a new bottle of Brut Docg was born that can be defined as the spearhead of the cellar and a representation of the territory in which we live, and bears this name.
The Prosecco Brut Docg Colli Conegliano Valdobbiadene comes from an exclusive "shore" of polygenic conglomeratic rock of the Miocene at 350 meters above sea level; indissoluble ties between our land and the hand of our farmer allow this combination of love between microclimate and viticulture to be created, giving rise to this limited product which at the first sip expresses all its joy in a thin and delicate bubble.
